When I told someone who I was just introduced to that I was a senior (in college), she asked me what high school I went to. I was curious and asked the details. Germaphobe, perhaps? The team mate when on to describe the woman as "blonde, short, older..." I wondered who it could be. A friend's mother perhaps? The player went on to describe her and soon enough this person, this fist bumping, older woman, walked by...I was stunned to see a friend of mine who is actually younger than me! And she looks younger than me! I realized I was now in the category of"older" ...sigh... Moral: don't ever describe someone as "older."
